INSTRUCTOR

Jose Biruel Jr. D.Sc

Jose Biruel Jr. holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidde Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI, 1999), a master's degree in Energy Planning from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (COPPE-UFRJ, 2008), a master's degree in Gas Turbine Technology (Cranfield University, England, 2012), a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (UNIFEI, in a collaboration with the Cranfield University, England, 2016), MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – RJ (2001) and is studying Business Intelligence Master – Intelligent Systems for Decision Support in Business from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

He worked as manager in the management of the implementation of major works of the Gas and Energy Board of PETROBRAS from 2012 to 2016, highlighting the coordination of the professional training program for the industry and the structuring of management metrics for the implementation of projects.
