Paulo Barreiros is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from UFRJ (1981). He worked at the Brazilian Institute of Nuclear Quality (IBQN) from 1982 to 1985 and at Petrobras from 1985 to 2021. He holds a Master's degree in Gas Flow from COPPE/UFRJ (1994), MBAs in Gas and Energy Management (2001) and Advanced Business Management (2010) from COPPEAD/UFRJ.
At IBQN he worked as an Independent Nuclear Quality Inspector and at Petrobras he held the following positions: Large Machinery Engineer in Basic Engineering at the Petrobras Research Center (CENPES); Gas, Energy and Gas Chemical Manager at CENPES; General Manager of Investment Project Implementation at G&E; Safety, Environment and Health Manager and Technological Management Manager at CENPES; Natural Gas Processing and Flow Asset Manager at G&E.
During his 36 years of professional experience at Petrobras, he delivered lectures on Technological Innovation and on the Implementation and Operation of Natural Gas Processing and Transportation Assets.
