WisEnergy is the first Brazilian company focused on teaching in Oil, Gas and Renewable Energies, aligned with a vision of sustainability and mitigation of climate change.
The immense logistical and cost advantages should prolong the predominance of oil in the world energy matrix, but the rise of renewable forms of energy is something definitive! Oil and gas will continue for some time, but will move towards a neutral carbon footprint. Renewable energies are present in electricity generation and transport today, and will play an even more relevant role in the future.
Our mission is to collaborate with the Brazilian effort in the energy transition, providing a wide range of courses on the Energy Industry, with the best instructors in Brazil, all of them with extensive practical experience. The Founders
My name is Farid Shecaira. I am a Civil Engineer, with an extension in Petroleum Engineering from Petrobras, a master's degree from the Federal University of Ouro Preto and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. I worked at the Petrobras Research Center; at Petrobras America in Houston; in the Petrobras International area and in the Pre-Salt, managing the initial phases of development of the Iara complex. Course currently Post-Graduate in BI - Data Science by PUC-RIO.
After 41 years working in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production area and in Research and Development activities, I want to learn more and share with you our learning over all these years!
My name is Oscar Chamberlain. I am a Chemical Engineer from UFRN. I have an MBA in Business Administration from FVG and COPPEAD UFRJ, with a degree in Advanced Strategic Management from IMD Laussane (Switzerland) and Executive Development Program from KELLOGG – NorthWestern,
With more than 35 years of experience at Petrobras, I recently ventured into Data Science, specializing in BI - Data Science at PUC-RIO and I work as a Partner and consultant at CS Consulting, in the areas of oil and energy, with a strong domain in R&D and Implementation of Technologies. I have extensive knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas, Refining, Renewables, Business Planning, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship.
The sustainability journey in the future demands energy security in a sustainable way, so we are together on this journey of learning and teaching for a better professional future for our customers and energy for society.
