Propriedades de Rochas-Reservatório de Petróleo

Knowledge Area: Reservoir Engineering

Instructor: Farid Shecaira Ph.D

Level: Introductory

Basic Requirements: Not Required

Duration 6 Hours

OBJECTIVE

To transmit to the student the concepts related to the main properties of reservoir rocks (also called petrophysical properties). With the acquired conceptual basis, the student will be able to carry out or participate in reservoir studies, using the concepts correctly, reducing the typical uncertainties of these studies carried out during the exploration, production development and production phases of oil fields.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The course is aimed at engineers, geologists and also professionals in the technical areas who wish to acquire knowledge about petrophysical properties and use it in studies of oil reservoirs.

COURSE CONTENT

⦁ What are oil reservoirs
⦁ Saturation
⦁ Porosity
⦁ Absolute Permeability
⦁ Capillary Pressure
⦁ Wetability
⦁ Relative Permeability
⦁ Porous Volume Compressibility
⦁ Electrical properties of rocks

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Certificate issued upon completion of the course.
