Gustavo Torres Moure is a chemical engineer with a master's degree in Heterogeneous Catalysis from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. In 1984, he was hired by Petrobras to work in the area of Catalysts at the Petrobras Research Center, where he held R&D management positions. Since 2000, he has worked at Petrobras in the area of technologies for mitigating climate change, having been appointed Technical Consultant. After 35 years at this company, in September 2020 Gustavo left the company, but continues to work in the area of climate change, competitive intelligence and open innovation.
