OBJECTIVE

To transmit knowledge about: the evolution of solar energy generation in Brazil and in the world; learning about the systems regarding their basic structure and components, cells and photovoltaic inverters and support structures; procedures to estimate in a simplified way the energy generation by solar source.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The course is aimed at engineers and professionals who wish to enter the renewable energy sector, especially in energy generation, or to deepen their knowledge of this form of energy generation.

INSTRUCTOR

Luiz Fernando Almeida Fontenele, M.Sc, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC, 2010), with Magna Cum Laude academic distinction, and a degree in Génie Electrique at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon , 2010). He holds a master's degree in Photovoltaic Solar Energy from the University of São Paulo (USP, 2018). Since 2013, he has been working with Research, Development and Innovation projects at the Petrobras Research Center, in the area of electricity generation, with a focus on photovoltaic generation.
