INSTRUCTOR

Glenda Rangel Rodrigues, M.Sc.

Professor Glenda Rangel Rodrigues is a chemical engineer, graduated from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ,) with a specialization in oil processing from Petrobras, MBE executive postgraduate degree in environment from UFRJ-COPPE, master's degree in Environmental Management from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). She joined Petrobras in 1987, working at the Duque de Caxias Refinery for 13 years, performing technical and managerial roles in the area of energy, utilities and effluent treatment.

Starting in 2001, working in the Refining area at Petrobras, he developed work in the Energy and Emissions area, working on the implementation of atmospheric emissions management in the segment, reaching Master Consulting in 2013. He worked both with regulated pollutants, focused on air quality, as in decarbonization.

She participated as a representative of the Refining area of Petrobras in the working groups for the elaboration of CONAMA Resolutions (Brazilian Regulation) that established the emission limits for fixed sources and worked for 20 years in support of operations, projects, licensing and management plans.

She is currently a specialist air quality and decarbonization consultant at Ramboll, an engineering and consulting company.
