OBJECTIVE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This course will provide the student with an overview of what are the most important points in the management of complex projects such as projects in the oil and gas area. Special emphasis will be placed on risk management and stakeholder management, specifically sensitive areas in this type of project, which normally involve economic, political and environmental concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    M\u00e1rcio is an Electrical Engineer from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS \u2013 1975) and Master in Environmental Management Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ \u2013 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He worked at Petrobras from 1976 to 2014, the last 20 years as coordinator of Basic Engineering projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Since 2003, he has been an instructor in MBA courses in the area of project management at several institutions, such as; UFRJ, Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Get\u00falio Vargas (FGV), Universidade Veiga de Ameida (UVA), in addition to giving workshops to companies such as Engevix and Dinsmore-Compass, among others. He was one of eight Nominees for the \u201cBest Professor in the Project Management Area\u201d by PMI-Rio, in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a speaker, he presented papers at several seminars, being a keynote speaker at the National Meeting of Project Management at FIRJAN (RJ) in 2007. He also periodically publishes articles on his Linkedin page. Projects\u201d (Editora Brasport \u2013 2017), and co-author of several others, including the title \u201cHow to become a Project Management Professional\u201d, the famous \u201cbrown book\u201d, launched in 2003 by Qualitymark and considered a kind of \u201cground zero\u201d in the literature on project management in Brazil.
